technical demonstration
It is not a game yet, and you can see that
This is not a playable demo, because there is no playable game. What exists is the foundation, and it runs. I would rather show you that than ask you to believe a nice-looking video.
- No signup, no login.
- Nothing is charged, and no card is asked for.
- Runs in the browser. Nothing is installed on your machine.
The demonstration is not up yet
The current build is 282 MB, almost all of it raw assets that would not even appear in a demonstration of the foundation. Shipping that would mean making someone wait eight minutes to watch a gray cube move.
What is missing is a cut-down version: the foundation scene, with minimal assets. It is a few hours of work on my side, and when it is ready it shows up here.
In the meantime, what you can check is what the support page already states: the plan's numbers, the tests that pass, and the closed room where development is published from the inside. If you would rather wait for the demonstration before deciding, that is a fair choice — I am not going to rush you.
What you will see, unvarnished
- The foundation running: the animation base and the client skeleton, in gray-box. Simple shapes instead of final art, because the final art does not exist yet.
- The plan has 27 phases. The first is shipped, the second is in progress, and public beta is phase 22.
- It is NOT gameplay. There is no café to run, no game loop, no progression. If you came to play, it is not yet.
- That is exactly why the demo exists: so you can see the real size of what is being built before deciding to fund the building.
If it made sense
Supporting Dreams Coffee does not buy a finished game: it buys the room where the building happens in the open, with the decisions, the numbers and the mistakes. With no promised release date, because I do not have one.
Froze, went black, or never loaded? Tell me on Discord, in the support channel. Knowing which browser and which device already solves half of it.
